Koneru Lakshmaiah (KL) University, founded in 1980 is situated in Vaddeswaram, Andhra Pradesh, India. Built on the vision of promoting interdisciplinary studies, research, and innovation the University holds 21 academic departments emphasizing scientific and technological research.

KL, a deemed university comes under Category I as per UGC Regulations and is entitled to offer programs through open and distance learning. KL is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with A++ grade and recognized by the All India Council for Teacher Education (AICTE).
