Yenepoya University

Short Bio

Yenepoya is deemed to be University and accredited under central regulations and norms. It is named after its luminary founder – Mr Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, the Chairman of the Islamic Academy of Education, a not-for-profit trust.

Yenepoya flagged off the institution's journey, in 1992, in the suburb of Mangalore (Karnataka), by setting up a dental college. In later years with the formation of Nursing Science Institution (1994), Medical College (1999), Nursing College (2002) Phisiotherapy College (2003), the University grew.

Yenepoya offers a vast range of Graduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programs through its distinct Faculties of Study – Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Allied and Healthcare, Pharmacy, Commerce, Science, Arts, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences.

Under the Online Education Mode, the University offers BCOM in different specializations. Yenepoya is NAAC A Grade University and ranks among the top in the NIRF ranks awarded by MHRD.
